A-State International Scavenger Hunt Rules and Clues

  • Teams cannot exceed 4 students.
  • At least two members of your group must be in pictures at all times.
  • You must provide evidence that you completed a task (photographs, video or manual submission to International Student Services).
  • Each task is worth a certain number of points. 
  • ​You do not need to complete all tasks.
  • You will be scored based on the total point value of each completed task.
  • To win, your team will need the most points totaled of all submissions.
  • If there is a tie, the winners will be drawn at random. 
  • Scavenger Hunt judges have the right to disqualify a task submission if it doesn’t meet the task requirements. 
  • The deadline for all scavenger hunt materials is Thursday, November 21st at 11 AM.
  • Winners will be announced at the International Food Festival on Friday, November 22nd.
  • Email all completed materials to ​sdekok@astate.edu​, and drop off any other necessary non-digital materials to International Student Services. 
  • Clearly label your email with: A-State International Scavenger Hunt and your team name.

Task Points Possible Completed?
Take a team picture outside of the International Programs building.   20  
Take a picture of something on campus that is in a language other than your home country language.  (Excluding English)   30  
Take a picture with anything in the campus bookstore or library that promotes learning about other cultures.    20  
Make a video of your group playing a sport that originates in a country other than your home country. (min 2 minutes, max 5 minutes)       50  
Learn to make a craft from a country other than your own and bring it to the International Programs office. It may be put on display. Examples: origami, masks, fans, etc…         50    
Create a team hashtag promoting International Education Week & post on social media with a picture of your group.         30  
Take a group photo with a wolf on campus 20  
Come up with ONE event or activity that you would like to see from International Programs.     30
